The children have had a wonderful time celebrating Red Nose Day, they have come into school in their pyjamas and had a great cake sale at break time!
Oh what fun was had! The children and staff had great fun dressing up and sharing their favourite books. I read a little bit of my favourite book ‘The Wishing Chair’ and have a left a chair in school (just in case it flies off for an adventure!). The children are doing really well with their reading – keep up those daily reads and do not forget to snuggle up with a book at bedtime!
I just want to thank everyone for making my first week at Kemble such a happy one! I am going to love being the head teacher here! I have just posted my first ever blog too! One is never too old to learn a new trick!
A really massive welcome back to everyone. I hope that you have all had a wonderful summer and are looking forward to a fun filled, hard working term in which we can all grow our minds just that little bit more!
I would like to say a special welcome to all our new parents of children in Reception and across the school. I hope that you manage to attend the coffee morning on Wednesday 4th September which is a great way to meet other new parents, along with a few of our wonderful KPG.
Please feel free to pop in and see me if you have any questions or concerns.
This is a trial to see whether it is a good way to communicate up-to-date information and news from the school.
