The Kemble School Netball team recently won the Hi-Five Netball tournament at Deer Park and now go on to the area finals. Thank you to Mrs Howell, Mrs Muller and Mrs Parmiter for all their hard work
Enthusiastic and well behaved Kemble team gave three cheers to Rodmarton after a very close contest. Kemble were behind by just half a point going in to the final round in which they had to correctly name the specimens given to them. They emerged victorious with 29 points to 27.5 and guaranteed themselves a place in the next round. Rodmarton were excellent and welcoming hosts and their team may yet progress because of their high score.
Last Thursday, Beech and Horse Chestnut classes spent a lovely day at Butts Farm. The children had a wonderful time milking goats, bottle feeding the goat kids and grooming donkeys. They also fed the chickens, went on a tractor and trailer safari and spent cuddle time with tortoises and bunnies. It was a fantastic day! Thank you to Miss Hancox for organizing
We are really proud of our football team from Chestnut class that recently took part in the Cirencester Schools’ football tournament and reached the semi finals. Well done!
Have a look at the great photos taken by the children on the recent wildlife photography day.
Chestnut Class took part in an evacuation day today as part of their topic about life in World War II.
After making gas mask boxes, gas masks and rock cakes to eat after arriving at the village hall, everyone set out for the station. Upon arriving at the village hall, everyone wrote postcards home and were then inspired by a talk by an ex-serviceman, explaining his role in D-Day onto the end of the war.
